does anybody know if there is access in the pine crest canyon area?
I have never been up in that area, just curious before i make the drive up there.

There's access, but parking is a big problem. There's only one public parking space in the canyon. It's for a trailhead, but it's very small - maybe room for 4 or 5 vehicles. Since parking is a big issue for everybody who lives up there, they are very aggressive about ticketing and towing. So parking anywhere else is a bad idea.
