Guys I am so tired of this crap. You asked a question, and I tried to get you and answer. That's it!
I've been in this conservation business for over 20 years and I sure don't claim to know all the answers about all of this.
Unfortunately politics and wildlife have now got intermingled and even though I don't like it, it is what it is.
How you are going to deal with it is the pressing question.
Who among you is going to rise up and lead sportsmen in the fight to save the sport and critters we all love so much?
With the antis watching us "feeding on our own" they are loving it!
We have went from a minority group with a mission-- which we are in American society--to a fragmented bunch of folks who with glee disparage others who have worked for them on these issues for years!
Personally I'm done with it.
I've spent my time in the trenches, working with many of those who are seen as the enemy and now it is time to move on and leave it to the others who claim to have all the answers.
I've made a commitment to my club (Mohave Sportsman Club) to finish out my term as Govt. Liaison for them.
Then I'm stepping down.
No more monthly trips to Phx to attend meetings, time away from family, business and friends, gone will be the endless hours on the phone, e-mails and texts working on issues that are of utmost importance to all of us who call ourselves sportsmen.
Nope I've seen the "light" guys.
Welcome to the jungle!
