and here are the pictures of it now. I think it came out better then I expected.
This will be at the Minnesota River Valley Elk Foundation Banquet on Feb. 18th we will be bolting a Winchester M70 30-06 with Bushnell optics on it.
For future reference I would again like to here what people have to say about the caliber for elk. Would you rather it be something more common like a 300winmag or would you be more apt to bid on a 280 Remington or some other caliber that is a little more unusual? Another thing to consider since this is Minnesota where we pretty much have to travel to hunt elk would you go with a smaller cal say more for deer?
