Wolf tag for the Lemhi Range?

I'll be hunting the Lemhi Range with my wife in October for the general mule deer hunt? Do wolf numbers in the Lemhi Range justify picking up the tag, just in case?

Assuming you're a NR. Seems like a no brainer, for $32. There are plenty of wolves up there, but seeing them to shoot is another matter. Even if you don't get one, I would gladly substitute a NR deer or elk tag for it in a heartbeat, because I think the chances of ever getting wolf in the Lower 48 would justify it.

Perfect advice from Blank. If you are a resident, it makes even more sense to buy a wolf tag.
I've only punched one lion tag and never a wolf tag, but it doesn't cost much, so you may as well have it in your pocket. Maybe this will be the year I finally punch a wolf tag.
