Wyoming area 128 Whitetails

I will be headed up in a week or 10 days to help my brother find a whitey, Im a little worried about the private land issue and our ability to find a buck. He hasn't scouted or done any of his homework, but seems to think we can kill on the first day of our 4 day hunt. Just thought I'd check to see if anyone has any advise or hints. Thanks

My wife had a 128-1 tag last year so we spent the last week of season hunting the area.

I think getting a good whitetail could be tough if you can't get on some private. most of the open to the public areas have 5000 doe hunters whacking at every whitetail doe that sicks it's head out of the brush.

We didn't even see a whitetail buck while we were there but we weren't looking that hard either, but I can say we didn't see any whitetail off the creek bottoms so I wouldn't waste time far from them.
