LAST EDITED ON Oct-28-10 AT 06:23PM (MST)[p]I had a fun hunt in wyoming this year. I missed a really nice 180+ buck nicknamed him (double eye guard) during archery season, a 70 yrd down hill shot, wish I could of had him. I went back during the rifle season in hopes of finding that same buck, hunted hard looking for him but I never could turn him up. One afternoon I glassed up one of double eye guards side kick's bedded down in some sage, a nice, tall, heavy 170 class 4x4. I put a stalk on to get a closer look, got to 300 yrds and decided I would take him when I got a chance. I waited there ready for about an hour for him to stand up and when he did a well placed shot from the 7mm dropped him in his tracks. Thanks Cameron for all the great tips on the area!
