Thinking unit 7 or 19. What are some good units that you can hunt on your own or drop camps? Bearless units and ample public land, looking for 285-300 class bulls. Thanks in advance
YOu can do a DIY hunt anywhere in the NF. Area 7 is pretty hard to draw. You didn't say if you were looking for archery or rifle hunt. The general rifle tag will let you hunt anywhere that is open during the general rifle season. The last couple of years that tag has been around 30 - 40% odds. Good luck, I hope to be in the southern end of the NF come October.
