Youth deer hunts

LAST EDITED ON Jan-30-11 AT 06:34PM (MST)[p]I am very grateful for the great opportunies NM has for young hunters. I just finished sending in an application for my oldest of my six daughters. I am more excited about that hunt than the one I put in for myself.

NM has some incredible youth opportunities. It is really worth the time to learn about them if you have kids or know kids that want to hunt.

I agree 100%. NM does more for youth hunters than any other state. My oldest son has been fortunate to participate in both a youth elk hunt and a youth deer hunt as a non-resident. I enjoyed being a part of these hunts more than my own hunts. I hope my other two sons are lucky enough to draw a youth hunt tag.

The best state for youth hunting.I got to take my son on a bull elk hunt and he took a great 6x6 on public land.He to this day just can not understand why I had so much fun since he was the one hunting.Was better watching him then any animal I have ever taken for myself.Taking him this year again and ever year I can afford to.
