Im headed down in a few weeks with my buddy on a late season elk hunt. I was just wondering if anyone has any areas that may be a good starting point down there.\

Hunt low in the wide open were you would not even think there is elk.There are some draws that have a little cover that hide elk.There is a major canyon that is on the southwest side of the road to the grand canyon.If you want a big bull pretend you are hunting bighorn sheep and you will be in the right area.
