Arizona has gifted me a difficult Elk Tag

Those are some tough hunts man, they have the whole disclaimer in the regs for the “limited opportunity” hunts. It means you opportunities to see and kill are expected to be slim, big areas with most of it very low animal density. Whole sections of the units look great and can have elk one year, but the next year there’s nothing within 10 miles. If you have a ton of time and can hunt several weeks and will shoot anything you see, you can have some good odds, but if you want a mature bull or can only hunt a week, the odds are against you. Enjoy the journey and the views here in the desert, you never know what will be over the next hill.

But you're sayin' there's a chance! LOL. Yes it can be a very tough hunt according to those who have done it, and especially with some ranches locked up by outfitters. I really appreciate the info!

A needle in a 2500 sq mile haystack! If you succeed your next task will be much simpler. Finding an honest politician in Washington, before the next election!! :)
