Which are your best video picks?

Anybody have any reccomendations on MD/ELK/Western hunting videos?

Which are the the best QUALITY and which are a waste of money?

I'm looking to expand the library, but have had enough of the dopey, drawly, "Deliverance" banjo'd, "let's reveiw the kill forever and repeat every cliche twice" junk on tv--- stuff.

Do you have any favorites?

-Muley Crazy 5:Nutz About Bucks and 6:Mule Deer Overdose (You wont be disappointed with any of the Muley Crazy Videos)
-Mossback's Bucks Gone WIld and Bulls Gone Wild
-Mossback Mulies Volume #1-3
-Lowland Mulies Volumes 1-2
-Primos Truth Volume 7-8 (Elk)
-Magnum Mulies VOlume #3
-Utah's Raging Bulls Volume #1

And for a little change of pace.....
Primos Calling All Coyotes Volumes 1 and 2....its pretty fun watching them call in and blast those fawn killers!!

If you want to see some truly huge Bulls, try and find a copy of one called "BULLS of the SAN CARLOS", seems like the last bull taken on the video was 430something, and it was taken with a bow. I am not sure where to get a copy, I am still looking for a copy for myself, the one I watched was one that a friend had barrowed from a friend. But I am still looking.

It depends on what you are looking for:

I probably wouldn't spend the money on the muley crazy's, Sure you will see some awesome bucks on the ground, but rarely a stalk scene, or any sort of instruction to teach you to do the same thing. Pretty much if you draw in these areas you can get this, if you hunt with us, and damn let's talk about how big our buck is again.

The Eastman videos, though not showing as large of bucks, definitely teach you a little more about hunting. I just purchased Never enough and I'll let you know.

Lowland muleys a little better than the crazy's but almost seems like it was done by the same crew at some points ie look at my awesome buck.

Beyond belief is one of the better ones out there right now especially if you want some instruction in long range shooting.

I got my copy of the san carlos at the sportsmans warehouse. They have a huge selection of hunting videos.

It is hard to beat the Muley Crazy videos if you like big Mule Deer, and the Bulls of the San Carlos for monster elk is the best Elk video I have seen. If you like a bunch of kill scenes one after the other, try Never Enough Western Big Game, you may need to turn down the music to listen to it more than once. Certainly some great videos out there these days.

Has anyone seen the video called something like, Mule deer of the Hickoria (sp?). Bucks from the New Mexico Indian reservation, I was just wondering if it is any good. The last couple videos I purchased I should just through them in the trash after I watched it one time.

Havent purchased any new videos lately....but you cant go wrong with the Muley Crazy series!
Mossback Mulies series isnt too bad.
Lowland Muleys is up there
Cant wait to see the new Muley Crazy though...hear it is a top notch video!

I have watched a ton of videos and I feel that the Muley Crazy series is second to none. They have some of the largest deer ever captured on video. To be fair I have not watched Prisms video and look forward to seeing it. The Lowland Mulies series has some good stuff, I like the fight scene that my partner filmed in the 3rd video. All of this being said, I dont think that there is really a bad video out there as long as it has big deer on it I'll watch it but Muley Crazy is just simply #1 in my book.

I agree the never enough video is good.

Primos is good for elk, BUT, BS hit it on the head with "hunting the san carlos" for elk. Probably the best elk video around.

Primos is good for elk.

Without a doubt, any muley crazy video is what you want for mule deer.

i watched one about 15 years ago called "the kill" i think it was dave embry but iam not sure,,, that was a great video,, it had like 40 kill scenes,,it was great but i cant find it to buy it,,if anybody knows of it please let meknow,,,,,cbryant

I'm from Arizona so any video from Az is very appealing to me. Two videos from the Chappell and Scott Guide are great for learning calling techniques and kill shoots-Extreme Bulls 1 & 2.

The Awesome Bull series from the McClendon is also top notch for instruction and kill shots-Az402 is in the 3 video-I think. All the video I have that the McClendon put together are great-Couses deer, Black powder, and mountain lion.

The Primos videos are also top notch for instruction and kill shots.

I use Primos calls for elk so the Extreme Bulls and Primos videos teach you all you need to know. I used a lot of information and techniques from both of these videos to call for my friend in 4A this pasted archery season. The bulls came in to the calls but unfortunately he could not judge the distance.
