OK...Let's see your western whitetail pictures. I'm going on a whitetail hunt up on the Powder River in Wyoming and want to see some pictured to get pumped up. Let's see those "dinky deer" pics!

I've hunted coues in Az. but I have never hunted the Eastern whitetail...until next week, I've been invited to Nebraska. It'll for sure be a different style of hunting, but I am excited to try it. Lets see some pics...man, I feel guilty requesting to look at some whitey pics on monstermuleys.

A couple of weeks ago my brother's friend in Washington shot a nontypical whitetail that is 38 inches wide and greenscored 287 B&C
I'm not able to post a picture yet.

Heartshot -

When will you have permission to post? If it really is that big that thing would be HUGE! I don't doubt NE Washington could grow them though.

Dont quite buy it. I have seen one that would push 200" and have taken a 170 and several 150 whities out of NE WA, but 38" & 287? I'm sure we would have heard about it before now. I can definately but a mulie of that size from over there, but a whitetail? Let's see it. I hope that I am wrong.

I bagged a nice 11 pt (eastern count) whitetail in NE Wyoming on opening morning. My best whitetail to date, I'll try to post pictures later.

I have never killed a monster whitey, but do get back to SD every year for Thanksgiving and a little whitey hunting. More of a get together with friends, but usually get a decent whitetail.

Hopefully 2005 will be kind to me again in a couple weeks.

Mtmiller-that '04 buck is pretty nice and an awesome photo! None of those bucks are anything to sneeze at.

mtmiller,

Those white-tails are nicer than you're given them credit for!

(The '01 buck scares me a little, that's quite a neck!)

Here's a few more. Photo's are not near a good as mtmillers.

All are from western Montana.

Tony-
Hows the muley hunting going? I ran into you last fall near the end of the season on the South Fork of "D" Creek and talked to you about Eberle packs. Glen is a classmate and buddy of mine. Saw a fair number of deer last weekend in the area with half a dozen decent 4 points 150-160 ish. Looking for that 180+ bruiser, the wind and snow was brutal.

Awesome pictures guys! I for one can appreciate any deer if it's big, whitetail or mulie. Isn't deer hunting the best in that regard, you basically get the same sort of animal and can hunt any terrain varying from those cool looking wheatfields with creek drainages to high country mulies. I love hunting mulies but in the near future I have my sights set on hunting the midwest for some big whitetail.
