I don't know all the details, I know he hunted a group of bucks for 3 days before shooting this one, the second largest in the group. He said the larger buck was a bit wider and much heavier in mass - I know he was hunting somewhat north central in the state - sorry I don't have more details but I do have nice photo's he sent

What a fat ass! Great looking deer. Congrats to your buddy. Scores enough for this guy. Hard to get perspective but looks to be 180's to me.

That's clearly the western slope, zekers, you can tell by that bush behind and to the right of that big buck.

Nice Rack, It looks smaller because of the body size I too think he over 180
It looks like he loaded up the backpack and then some, Look at the size of that body. Hunting that old burn looks like it payed off pretty good.
