At the rate we are going in Utah, in twenty years there will be about 13,000 deer tags, and still no deer.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-23-10 AT 05:21PM (MST)[p]Well, they do at least mention the loss of 600,000 acres of habitat (in 2003 alone). The 80s and 90s saw much more necessary habitat loss than ever before.

The key to Utah deer recovery is predator management, habitat management and time. Tag cuts won't help. But once they are gone, they are gone.
