Got our Brookscliffs tags - North

After 15 years of trying we gat our draw for the brookscliffs. Any opinion on begin pcked in for a drop camp or doing it ourslelfs. Have hunter Montana, WY, Oregon, Utah, Neveda without a guide but after 15 years just wanted other opinions on this hunt. Thanks

If you are wanting a real nice buck either scout all summer or go with a guide. IT's not what it use to be. I had the archery tag last year. Didn't see many bucks over 145 and only one 180+ buck scouting 7 days before season and hunting first five days. Good luck. They give out a lot of tags.

I realize that this isn't a trophy area. It should be fun seeing a ton of deer. I live in San Diego so scouting is out of the question. I'm fired up for this.

Why is scouting out of the question. Make it your vacation. Get in your car and drive. If you don't want to scout get a guide. Tough place to show up and kill a trophy.
