Apparently the DWR has increased the tags significantly over the previous proposal of 10. Last years quota was 35, this year's is 38.

They approved 12? Last year was 35 I believe. They proposed 10 and approved 12 this year. Did you hear something different?

LAST EDITED ON Apr-07-06 AT 08:22PM (MST)[p]Ktc, I just looked on the website and it shows 38 late tags and only 84 early tags, instead of the proposed 161. Look under "latest news" (I don't know how to post links). My 10 points should be automatic, now.

I heard from a good source what I had posted above. The updated link showing the 2006 numbers posted just a day or two ago definitely says what you posted. They proposed 10 the info I got saaid they approved 12 but you are right the link says 42.

Go look now. It was not 42, it was not 12, it is not 10.

Try 8. 10 points won't do it bud. 12 probably won't either.

Oh well. I can live with managing our herds to maintain quality.

Ktc, Yeah, I noticed that when I got to work today. In a way I'll be relieved when (if) I don't draw. I was questioning my choice before, now I look forward to the whole process next year.
