where are all the deer?

I am hunting the central deer region in utah and I only see deer one half hour after sunrise and I watch them bed down. It is a full moon out, could they feed in the middle of the night and sleep ALL day? Hmmm...

I have been looking for them for 3 months. It isn't the moon. It isn't because you are blind. It isn't because you are a crappy hunter.

They aren't there. I haven't seen much this year. It seems to be a bit slower this year than normal.

Maybe the bowhunters killem them all. ;-) I will admit some good ones WERE there.

Call SFW they have been seeing them. On public ground! HowndDawg has seen some milkies down on the Nebo.

I think overall the numbers are down (at least from what I have seen in the Northern Region). I think the predators are taking some toll, but I think that is only a small part of it. Hopefully, it will improve on the last week of the muzz hunt.
