I want to go looking for sheds and thought I would ask for some help to narrow down where to start looking so I don't waste any time. Maybe it would be easier if you guys could just send me money so I don't have to put forth any effort.

Thanks,

?Bill

Been seeing some bruisers around the golf course--if you drive like me you'll probably find some while looking for your balls... ;-)

Guys...give it a rest. Someone pointed out that Cammtops might have some learning disabilities. He's just interested in help and ideas, not snide remarks or comments. Enough said.

Not sure if I'm to late for you Bill, but start by looking on google earth and find areas that have really thick cover and public access. South or East facing slopes seem to be where the majority of the ones I find, but not all of them. Search around the perimeter of the thickest brush you can find. As soon as you find one try to keep that similar elevation. I've found that each year deer shed at different elevations. I've talked to other people and they say that while in the learning process, like myself ten miles per shed is a typical rule of thumb. So don't be discouraged if you're walking three or four miles and not finding anything. Just keep looking and you'll eventually come into a pocket. Hope this helps, good luck!
