Unit 23 Moose

Looking for a big bull moose in unit 23. If any of you region G deer hunters come across one I would appreciate the help. I have horses and no where is too far for the right bull. So far I've found 4 bulls that were mediocre at best. Couple went 40" just barely but they didn't have much for palms or length. Ill be up there this weekend for opener of deer and I'll be up there for 5 days on rifle opener. Plus every weekend until I find the right bull. Any help is appreciated. Greys river and it's tributaries have treated me the best so far. Not sure if the little greys is worth looking at or not or if there is somewhere west of the greys I need to be looking.

For all the years I've hunted that country, I'd never seen a big moose until two years ago. I was able to help my dad tag that bull. He grossed 177 and was just over 50" wide. Last year a hunter shot a bull that was 54" wide. Didn't hear what it scored. One of the guides I hunt with also had a tag and he spent the entire season trying to find a big one which included help from a bunch of other people. He ended up getting a decent bull, but not the big one. Good luck...
