Well since the application period has passed to put in for Idaho controlled hunt tags (elk, deer, antelope, bear) where did everyone put in for?

Notellum creek just pass the big fir tree for elk, oh ya I drew elk last year so that was two of my boys in this year.

Hope everyone draws the tag of their dreams. I know from now till WY OR and Idaho come out that is about all I can think about.

Put in for deer elk antelope extra deer and extra elk, since that was all that was open!!

I also applied for deer ,elk and antelope. Ive hunted Idaho a few times on general, over the counter tags but ive never drawn a CH tag. Maybe this is the year!

Normally around the 6th of July give or take a day or three.

I would say typically it has been around June 25th, last year it was July 8th but I think they worked the kinks out of the system so I'm optimistic and I'll say the 21st

Controlled deer, most likely will be hunting otc deer

Moose, sheep and goat took 17 days for results, which was a pretty quick turnaround in my opinion. I don't think deer, elk speedgoat will be quite as quick, but I'm hoping they have gotten their kinks out of the system. Maybe June 20th, and we get Idaho and Wyoming results the same day!

LAST EDITED ON Jun-10-19 AT 12:42PM (MST)[p]My kid worked hard to get hunter safety done in time so I put him in for a controlled rifle elk tag. Long shot odds but I've drawn it. No matter what, he's going to go tag along for OTC archery. A rifle tag for him would just be a bonus.

*edit* I'm on the elk waiting list since I drew last year. Just put in for a longshot deer tag myself for an area it'd be fun taking the fam camping in.

You would try to by a general tag basically and the system wouldn't allow you cause you already had a controlled tag...

Prior to this new system, you used to be able to go into the online option to buy your available tags . It was usually a few hours or maybe a half of a day before the results were posted.
