There are a couple of memories that come together with this buck. My neighbor is an old time hunter with a home full of trophies and stories to go with them. I have become good friends with him and he shared with me this set of antlers from a buck he took in Alberta many years ago. He told me to go practice my taxidermy with them. The cape off this buck came from a beautiful buck my brother took this year on the Utah muzzle hunt. He made an unbelievable shot, and I missed an easy shot the buck it was with.

It took second place in the 2007 World Taxidermy Competitions Master's Division held in Reno.

It must been seen to be truly appreciated, you really can't tell it's not alive...
