from the west side of WA state (brush, clear cuts, timber, etc.)....what would be the best electronic coyote call to get?

Foxpro...

I thought i would save some $$ so I bought a western rivers caller a couple years back..I wish I would have got the Foxpro...

Fox pro is great...but the primos call is real good as well, and a lot cheaper. My brother has the fox, i have the primos, and we both call in about same # of dogs, but still love my mouth call. Good luck

Foxpro, with some good mouth calls( I like the Tallyho calls)

I used a buddies $400 Foxpro this weekend and it is amazing! I called in a pack of 6. They were hung up probably in their den and the "rabbit" wouldn't get them to bite. So I switched it to the "hot mama", then the "challenge", then the "pack call", then the "pups yipping" and I don't know if it was the sequence or what but they were coming full bore all out and they meant business. Unfortunately, my dumbass best friend told his boy to shoot at them while they were running in and....But that call sounds so real and carries sound so far.

On a side note I have a $55 Cass Creek cheapy and we called in 5 dogs in 2 days. So, I think they all will work. But I'm not sure the Cass Creek would have worked on the hung up big pack.

Just go get what you can afford and get you some dogs.

Everything i have ever heard about the foxpro is nothing but great. my next big purchase will have the foxpro in it.

I have a JS PM4 the wireless one and it has never let me down on the sets that i have used it. alot of it just has to do with the dog, but the sounds i have heard come from the foxpro sounded pretty dang good.

Hey Unclebuck,

I saw your post about hanging up your calls and how you thought it was time to challenge the dogs. Too bad you can't give it another couple weekends 'cause you obviously can smack em down. I think you might be very correct about challenging the dogs and sounding like a beeyatch in heat. I think everyone should do their part to knock some down before the fawns hit their mouths. I'm hooked on this dog huntin probably 'cause in part due to my 12 year old son loving it too. I'm going for the next 2 weekends for sure. We just got some good snow in Oregon so they will be hungry.

I like the Johnny Stewart Preymaster 4 wireless its been very effective for me this year. You can get one for around 200 bucks.

I agree with LOWCOUNTRY......I've used it and it's very effective in calling in song dogs here in the desert.....like this one this morning.
