Wasn’t enough for the units you wanted. I did points only but some have reported drawing second choice in some units so zero was enough.well, 22 points wasn't enough for either elk or deer in CO this year....
Now, THAT’s going “All in”Drew 4th season unit 21 , 29 points
hahah scouts honor I did not see this comment before my comment on the other point creep threadIt was so tough I didn’t even draw a point and I put in for points only
There is no 4th season in unit 21.Drew 4th season unit 21 , 29 points
Those draw recap reports are out nowI wonder when the stats will come out for how many points each hunt took.
I drew elk, deer, and pronghorn, againI drew zero in Colorado. Zip. Many people having same problem. I drew zero last year too. Ugh.
Jerry Gold - Windsor, Colorado ?
Mine tooSomeone with fewer points than me drew my moose tag.........again!
Every year more people with 3 get drawn than people with 20.Someone with fewer points than me drew my moose tag.........again!
No It's a terrible unit don't waist your time. I'll give you my address and I'll dispose the tag for you.I drew 44 4th season this year with 0 pts. Is that a good unit?
Wasn’t sure what area to put in for so I picked my age.
I applied for unit 44 4th season with 25 points.
I drew unit 444!
Reading all these successes will make a Devout Preacher cuss like a sailor !!!!!!!!I drew elk, deer, and pronghorn, again
Picked your age, or IQ?I drew 44 4th season this year with 0 pts. Is that a good unit?
Wasn’t sure what area to put in for so I picked my age.

And that elk tag is a B tag plus a preference point so I will hunt elk twice.Reading all these successes will make a Devout Preacher cuss like a sailor !!!!!!!!

What a great sense of humor !!! LOL ?Jerry there’s always an 80” in WY with your name on it!
Musta picked your IQ because you obviously can’t read?Picked your age, or IQ?
Same hereI quit buying PP last year for Sheep, it just doesn’t make sense
Boy do I know how bad it can be to pass on a year. Happened to me in CO when I had to return a tag due to injury and last year in WY when stupid me did not realize I had to buy a point come July. Now instead of having max deer I am in the next pool of 1400I was fortunate and drew a NR mountain goat tag a few years ago. As a high point holder, the only reason I continue to buy the moose and sheep points with the miniscule increase in odds is for the same reason LIK2HNT cited; potential change In the draw system.
The one thing I’ve learned over the years in other state’s draw systems is a single point can make a difference between drawing a tag and never having an opportunity at the same tag in your lifetime.
For now, I will continue to accumulate hoping for a change to the system In the near future. If I didn’t have over two decades invested into the system I would no longer buy the points.
As more NR‘s take advantage of the point opt out due to the cost vs point value and the preference point revenue decreases, IMO CPW will need to increase the NR preference point cost or change the system...
Horniac
That’s sucks dropping out of max pool like that.Boy do I know how bad it can be to pass on a year. Happened to me in CO when I had to return a tag due to injury and last year in WY when stupid me did not realize I had to buy a point come July. Now instead of having max deer I am in the next pool of 1400
