Which tag? A26 bass hill bow or a9(x5b) bow?

140+ daily? ha ha. Honestly, in X5B, I think with if you do your preseason shooting-religiously, do the at home research, scout the unit, and hunt the unit for as many days as it takes during the season, you'll shoot a Pope And Young Mule deer or at least have so much fun you'll never forget...

Which tag? A26 bass hill bow or a9(x5b) bow?

I did the X5B archery hunt a few years back and it was one of my favorite bow hunts in my lifetime. I've been bow hunting since 1975. Have hunted most every western USA state, including Hawaii. Add New Zealand and Northern Quebec to that list too. A few factors that help, the hunt is close to...

Archery Antelope across the border in 015 Nevada

When I had the X5B deer tag I chose not to camp at Ramhorn because it is pretty busy with all manner of folks. So, my delimma was to find a camp spot near where I wanted to hunt. That camp spot had to have a tree if I wanted my wife to go too. Which I did. Harder to find a good camp spot in...

Archery Antelope across the border in 015 Nevada

Looking at the photo pretty easy to assess that buck as "TOP END"!!!! Really an amazing buck. Some great memories stored away from that hunt for sure. I am headed out to 015 in a couple of weeks. Will be interested in seeing water conditions.

Archery Antelope across the border in 015 Nevada

I posted this on the Nevada forum too. Monster Muley members have been very good to me for many years. Fearing I may be going to the well once too often I'm still going to seek your help. I drew an archery Antelope tag for Unit 015. I've been trying to get the tag for a few years, (I had 15...

I've been trying to get the tag for a few years, (I had 15 preference points), because I hunted mule...

    Nevada archery antelope- 032, 034

I had that tag a few years back and can help. Going to be off the grid for a week but can talk with you by June 10th. Best if we talk with a map available, so pm me your phone # and the best time to call. I would have a couple of ground blinds to use and a scout trip planned to set them well...

Thanks. I look forward to your reply. I am getting some feedback, like yours, that says the roads are not all closed, as I was originally told. I am thinking those comments came from when Sheldon closed the roads temporarily due to wildfire fires.

Yea, Yellow Peak should be good. That area is in the closed hunting zone. Can't believe it wasn't covered in Antelope. Water locations and Cats are probably relocating where groups are hanging out.

Thank you. What do you know about road access off the main roads? The Refuge Map from the USFWS doesn't show much access.

Would have to refer to a thread many years ago about the Sheldon National Antelope Refuge where NVdrhntr wrote that even with the decline of deer numbers there, when it comes time to fill out the application, the Sheldon slips into one of the 5 choices. That is exactly what happened to me this...
