remember that you have to have a valid buck or bull tag for the same area that you are using the control tags. But if I remember right you purchased a general archery elk tag, so you should be good to go.

Been doing a little work on my bear skull. It is sitting in the pot degreasing right now. The details about the hunt are in my HAC thread.

I have been on both ends. I have received a surrendered elk tag. Turns out it was a friend's wife that was having a baby. I also surrendered an antelope tag last year when I injured my shoulder. I think it is great that they allow us to surrender/receive tags.
