We hunted spikes in there last year. It was a great time seen bulls and cows every day. The biggest bull we seen was a 330 class bull. Maybe this year we will find a spike.

I was never one to take the easy road lol. But yes I am going to look more into that next year.

I bought the Utah spike tag and I will also be in the same area. We spent 4 days last weekend in there scouting had no problem finding elk just no spikes lol. Wish I had that bull tag. Good luck.

I agree with this. I am looking forward to this tag. I have spent a lot of time on the Nevada side I am looking forward to this spike tag.

Lol I got the tag this year also. If nothing else it will be a good time camping for the week and takeing pictures of the bulls.

So what does everyone have to say about the spike only tag.

No more setting up nurmerous cameras and using them to benefit in finding where the biggest animals are located. And evens out the playing field with the use of the cameras get out and scout.

We seen some good Bulls up there the last few days they are high go high just because there are a lot of people that say depends on wheather they will be high all the ones we seen were 8000 feet plus just saying. We spent 5 days up north and heading back tomorrow good luck they are up there.

Well it has been confirmed it was just a bad case put 20 rounds through it the other day a whole new box and all went good. Quarter inch group at 100 yards.
