I have purchased a non resident archery tag for Unit 57 in Idaho. I am curious if anyone can give some guidance regarding a good central place to camp where I can day hunt out of or pack in for a day or 2 from. Also, what size of bucks I can expect to see? Thanks in advance

I think rifle tag. I've killed maybe 10 or 12 buck antelope. I grew up in Wyoming where they are plentiful. I will be able to make a scout trip at some point this summer.

Last minute research. I'm more interested in elk and mule deer, but had been buying pts for antelope. Figured I wouldn't draw elk this year with 18 pts so put in for this tag not really knowing much about it. Drew deer last year 12B west late.
