My buddies watched a cat take down a calf elk after it watered in front of them. They are there for sure but they are all over the Gila. I have hunted a lot around there and never came across any.

well we put in for unit 4 4th season. WE did all 3 of us as a group so we will see. If we draw we will have 3 of the 5 non res tags. there should be very little pressure the 4 th season maybe we will get lucky and have great weather.

My 13 year old nephew got it done with his dad and brother. Over counter tag Colorado horseback hunt. 10 days until New Mexico hunt for me. Can't wait for the Gila hunt.
