Gorilla super glue is what I use for skulls where the smaller bone segments separate (I use it for loose teeth too). It works well, and you can’t see it if you do it right. Very nice euro!

Congrats on the great ram! As to eating it, I've eaten four Barbary that ranged from a young ewe to a 14-year-old ram, and it's all been fine if you take care of it (like most game meat is). I only do ground because the meat is fairly tough and doesn't make good steaks or roasts in my opinion...

I use the Ripcord Ace, and I really like it, but the QAD is a great rest too. Whatever you get, make sure you can let down without the rest falling. Couple thoughts on boots and caliber: Boots - for expensive boots, I've used Kenetrek Mountain Extremes and Lowa Tibets, and after several years of getting blisters on both of my heels, I sold them, and bought some Keen hikers. For whatever reason, the super-stiff boots wear down my heels...
