hunted 70 last year oct. 11-13. The walk-in area's had no antelope. we ended up hunting on a ranch and it was still really tough. I did see some on the BLM but they were very skitish. get a landowner list and start calling, keep the BLM ground for a back up plan. Good Luck.

definitely gets sloppy, quick! just watch the weather. camped on 33mile rd last year. we got alittle rain and snow but seemed to dry up with in a day or two. stay away from bighorn mt. rd it was very messy and rough.

I hunted 34 this fall. all of the deer are in the NW conner of the unit. There are alot of two track roads all over the BLM ground, So be perpared to see alot of people road hunting. If you decided to hunt this unit shoot the first buck you see over 20". 34 is not a trophy unit, you will see...

Check in the muledeer topic there is a post with some good info. This fall will be my first time hunting this unit also. So I can't give you much info on where to go. from looking at the topo map it's pretty rough in the northern part.

I found out you can't buy antoher full price deer tag if you already have one. Even if one a type 1 and the other is a type 3. There are a few units that you can buy two type 3 tags in the same unit, 34 is not one of them. Maybe next year I will buy a type 3 after I scout it this year.

I'm still undecided if I want to buy one. There are leftovers so I have to wonder if it's because the lack of decent bucks in the area. I already have an antelope and type 1, so I'm not looking for just meat. I do have access to some private ground though.
