What’s the point of keeping them around? Must be like the cats here in Cali, we can’t hunt em and they do more damage than good. I remember the same in late 90s we’d see a handful of those horses in 22-21.

Ill be there saturday for about a week checking the unit out for maybe getting rid of points next year., any1 with deer tag let me know. Family has hunted it religiously since 60s up until 2001. Curious to see whats running around there this time a year again.

im not arguing that it wasnt horrible last year. i never said i was going to hunt it either. was curious about the things ive heard.

haha no, but early 2000s. with my dad and his friends. we saw more grouse than deer. lately ive heard that 22 has gotten better. to get it now its almost max i believe for later season. so something changed

i agree man,Id feel better if i had 8 points or so haha. but hey thats just the odds we go against with mother nature. just hurts a bit more with 19 if i end up with tag soup ?
