Agree with has been stated: You never clean a barrel that is grouping great! Regardless of when the last cleaning was done or how many rounds have been shot. Only when it stops grouping well do you clean it! Stop where you are at and go shoot it and hope it starts to group again after...

That is a very good moose for Utah! You do realize a bigger moose is most likely not going to show up! If you are still able to re-locate him go do it and smile for the camera. I think you are dreaming for a better bull!

You have had a once in a lifetime hunt getting both fantastic trophies. Getting a great ram and then a monster bull moose does not happen often. Enjoy your success because it will most likely only get harder going forward. Fantastic hunt!

The reason for my inquire is that Devlin and her husband are divorced and he is now running the outfit as Bluestone - that's why the name change. So was wondering if the outfit is as good as when the Bradford's had it? Thanks

Very nice write-up and great photographs! She is an exceptional lady hunter! Not many woman could pull that hunt off especially with a fractured ankle. In my book she ranks up there with the best of the huntress hunters. It does not get any better!

Typically, it takes three days to acclimate to high altitudes and if you don't start to acclimate you need to leave for lower elevation and not wait. As has been stated altitude sickness can affect either the head as Cranial Edema - the headache, the lung as Pulmonary Edema - coughing up...

Regarding bringing home sheep meat you may have a problem with the airlines. I would make a call to each one you are using coming home and if they are OK with it print out a copy of their regulations for back-up. It's also very expensive meat having to pay the extra baggage fees. On my sheep...
