Pauns deer migration

Does anyone know if the deer have been moving into the lower country as of yet? I am going there soon and just wondering.

Yes they have started down. It usually starts at the first hard freeze on top. Just follow the road kill on the Hwy for current elevation.

Wow! That is a stud buck. Thanks! I only saw 1 big buck killed in the last few days and it was a 3x4. Seems the management bucks are hitting the dirt early...... did see a 200" 4x4 this am though out feeding. Been having a hard time finding bucks that qualify for my Hunt that aren't dinks.

Large 3 X 4's every where we hunted. My son had to leave early but killed a nice 185 buck. This is a different year than any I've seen. It was so dry and warm like setting records. We didn't even hunt the old stomps and a lot of our secluded water was dry this year.
