Idaho can do what it wants. I dont see much of a difference though. No point creep but they have application creep like everyone else. Tags are harder to get regardless of point creep or just more people applying.

Agreed. If you look at the applications stats from the recession (2008/2009). Lots of applications and people out hunting. The raffle tags also saw a huge increase in applications.

Doesnt matter. I would try to go for as many week days as you can and avoid the weekend crowd.

No real problem with individuals. Im mostly disappointed with the party scamming. I also thought NDOW doesnt have to reissue the tag if they dont want but maybe that changed or maybe I’m thinking of another state. Either way mostly disappointed with the party scam.

Utah put in a new rule on returned tags regarding points. The whole party has to return tags or points will not be restored and even if they return them the party will not accrue a bonus point for that year. An individual tag will have points restored but will not accrue one for that year. I...

I would try and use the doe tag to scout for something else you may wanna hunt there. For example say you want an elk tag there go look for elk and if you see a doe then there you go.

I grew up in 196 and now I live in 021 a little before Winnemucca Ranch Road and during COVID all the roads out there are loaded with people. Every weekend the moon rocks and beyond are packed with trailers, busier than its ever been.

Agreed with buckhorn I would also add that it isn’t necessarily hunting competition but just general public recreation as well. You’ll be watching some deer and a guy blows by on his dirt bike, quad, utv, truck, even hikers and trail runners pop up outta no where.

Also drew 081 it was a long shot for me but fit my schedule the best this year. Im excited to be out hunting in December and see more of Nevada.

Thanks for the post. Im on year 7 trying to get a stupid turkey tag. Nobody at NDOW would tell me what the draw odds were. 12 years to get a tag, seems like I’ll be waiting a while longer.
