I bought the gun in 2017 I believe this is a different one, however it is super light, I think the rifle alone is 5# 7 oz.

I went back to and found where I had it at 5 lbs 7 oz. I am not sure about the capped muzzle. Reason for selling was I bought it as a backcountry, lightweight set up and really don't do that much of that style of hunting anymore so it sits in the safe. No problems with it at all, very smooth...

Selling a Howa 1500 in 6.5CM. Lightweight set up with 20" barrel. Topped with a Leupold VX3HD 4.5-14x40 scope. Includes 9 boxes of ELDX ammo in 143 grain. Will ship to FFL in lower 48. Less than 100 rounds through it. Will consider breaking up or will sell it all for $1500.

One word, JEALOUS!!! But in a good way, super cool to see how the investment in time and family time has worked out for you like this, I'm not a huge whitetail guy but doing something like this in retirement seems like it might be the ticket.

Not much talk about antelope winterkill in Utah this winter, how bad is it in the different parts of the state?

Wyoming antelope with my kids is one of my favorite things to do, unfortunately with how things are trending its getting to be tougher and tougher to do. Great memories right there.

Did the NR elk post before the date that they had published this year? I'm just wondering if there is a good chance that deer and antelope will post next Wednesday as opposed to Thursday morning.

Yeah I was a little surprised at the hunts I looked at as well. Seems like all the hype in 2021 over the late dates really died down this year.
