    Type 4 Area 39

Looking to find someone to trade some PMs with re: cows in 39. My son has the tag, we were originally planning on going early, scouting a couple days before the opener and hunting early. High School and sports have changed my program - we will now be going for the last 5 days of the hunt (Oct...

    NV CA Bighorn

Over the years, I've really enjoyed reading everyone's hunt story posts. Thought I should contribute ... Got lucky in 2015 and drew a sheep tag here in NV. Having hoped to draw any unit for the CA bighorns, I was very happy to end up with an area I knew well and knew held big sheep. As a...

    Nevada Buck

Pic of a buck taken by Ron Taylor in NV. Anyone willing to throw a score at it? Can't get the other pics to post - files are too big. FYI, you can't see the G1s in the pic (actually a 7x8), only about a 1/2 inch each, 25" inside spread. Congrats Ron - heck of a buck. Jason

    Desert Ram

Thought I'd show off the ram I took last weekend here in NV. Put him to bed the night before the opener. Found him the next morning, stalked to within 25+/- yds, and shot him at about 8:15 (can't believe I left the muzzleloader at home). Found a couple others that may have been bigger, but...

    Sabot help

Have been trying to refine some loads for my .50 cal. The question I have is how hard/easy should it be to get sabotted rounds down the barrel. I am getting great groups with Hornady sabots and 100 grains powder (1 to 2" at 125yd) but I can't get them down the spout without really pounding on...
