Been out Middle Fork and North Fork Boise, up to Atlanta.. elk and deer seemed to have come thru wither ok.. no bear sign yet. Followed snow line , grass and flowers not out yet , just starting to pop. Anyone having any luck?

Been out looking around last 3 weeks... not seeing much.. lots of deer and a few medium size bucks. Water holes I've been to have not been used yet. Hiked in 7 miles today found half dozen rubs in one area.. most sign been pretty low. Anyone else seeing anything?

Hunting n middle of unit. We’ve seen over 500 head and of that 300+ bulls. Most are broken up pretty bad. Different type of hunting in sage brush really hard to get closer than 500 yds. Found 3 that we chased around , nothing yet. Pouring ran here now.

In reference to buying lifetime licenses better check the regs closely. in Idaho the lifetime license is really only good for small game and fishing if you buy a combo. if you reside outside Idaho you still pay the non res fee for tags . It might be that some other states are the same way.

Check with your eye doc , I did one eye reading the other distance took a little getting used to but won't go back. Dominant eye for distance . I have contacts and glasses setvthat way . Works great

I see several post that mention .. I have MAX points. What is MAX points ? I don't see anywhere that there is a limit to the number of points a person acquires. I have 16 for moose and 17 for elk, it keeps going up every year I don't draw.
