Any successful youth hunters in the Sandias this year? I watched one youngster walk right past 2 bucks last weekend, and another one attempt to get close to two bucks only to get busted! Heard of a few get hit but never recovered. I have the hunt in January so hopefully they saved me one!!!

Looking for any help regarding deer in Unit 30. I have been there once before but had a real hard time finding any mature bucks. I know there are big bucks down there, I just cant seem to find them. My hunt starts next weekend, any help is greatly appreciated!!

After 8 days of hard hunting I smoked this 8X7 at 71 yards. Bulls were bugling sporadically but none would come into any calls. Luckily, the 2 bugles this guy did gave me his location and I was able to close the distance!!
