Congrats. It's all down hill from here. In my opinion no other hunting experience Is even close, and to do it in close with a frontal, good for you. Don't worry about any dispariging remarks, they just don't know..

I disagree with most I think he is a monster 80+ inches. Mass scores and this buck has it everywhere.

look into the 6.5 creedmoor. I have one in a 7 lb rifle that kicks less that a 243. shoots 140 gr bullets with plenty of energy to kill deer as far as you would want to shoot. Ruger and Browning are chambering rifles in it. Past that look into a muzzle break.

I was just on the Jan 15th stallion hunt with my little brother. Lots of broken horn and quality is down. We did see lots of Oryx the oryx were very skittish and you had to hunt to get within range. My brother was looking for a monster and passed a lot of oryx only to kill a broken cow last...

So is that guy like 4 foot tall or what?
