For what it's worth my advise is to use a lot of live reference pics of desert sheep...dawayne has some great desert forms available ,and his change out heads r the best in the industry....your ram looks to have a above average desert body and even if you use his desert forms some alterations...

Thought that might get all those with sheep fever attention :-) ....just a reminder of the Full Curl get together Saturday at the expo...some really good sheep hunts being given away...also for those interested on display out front in the lobby are some of the rams that were harvested this fall...

There are a few good desert forms out there,,,most of your custom poses come from forms that have been altered with change out heads,which means extra costs...IMO don't be afraid to pay for custom work on both the mount and the habitat....it's a trophy of a lifetime and you will spend a lifetime...

Harry if I am not mistaken that is Rich P. trophy room ...I had the privlage to guide him in colo for mule deer a few years back,one of the funniest guys in the world ,I have never laughed so hard....he is truly in a class of his Own ....hardly a animal on the planet he has not hunted....

Thanks for the compliments on the work...ya Larry I started out with a shoulder wall form and turned it into a ped and then had to resculpt the head to match the anatomy of mikes desert sheep which is one of the best to come off the zions...

Congrats to Randy and Mitch the this ram is unreal heavy,he has broken his left side,had he not you would be looking at a Utah record contender,as is he is 170" with bases that are almost 16" just awesome,these guys worked unbelievably hard for this ram,with any luck I will have this ram mounted...

As you know the rattlesnake is alittle more friendly to hunt and easier to get around,but if you like to get away from people I would go with range creek,And for what it is worth I took in a ram from the range creek this year that scores 184" And has 16" bases......
