I am putting in for a private land deer 3 rd season tag this year. I heard it was a rough year for deer numbers last year.

How did the hunt go?

I'm going. This is second year and I'm pretty pumped. Show is a blast.

Used the 6 man tent 3 years ago on a 10 float trip for moose in the brooks. Season was mid sep and the weather was brutal. Tent held up very well. Pretty much saved us. We had the vestival and it came in handy. Big fan of this tent.

Jm Good luck on the bighorn hunt. I was able to help out on a hunt in Washington last season. I am the guy in the middle. I have max points in Wa and hope to draw someday.

Congrats on an awesome adventure. That is a ram of a lifetime!! I talked with Braun in 05 about a possible sheep hunt. I ended up being 1 day late as he was booked out for 2 years. He is truly is a humble guy who is pretty much a legendary big game guide. Truly a memory of a lifetime.

Martinc, Oh what a feeling ! I remember booking my 07 dall sheep hunt in 05, and training and daydreaming about the adventure each and every day. The thrill of a sheep hunt is hard to put into words, because its an out of body experience. I wish you all the best !

I only hunted sheep once in 07. Dall sheep in the Alaska Range. One shot at 420 yards with my model 70 270 win put the ram down for good. Oh what a feeling !

Spence and Dad, What an unbelievable hunt ! I doubt it could be any bettter for a father and son experience. Way to hunt hard and never give up. Those memories will last a lifetime !

CONGRATS ! You shot a ram of a lifetime, and most likely one of the largest rams in all of Alaska in 09. Making the B/C all time record book with a minumum score of 170 is truley an amazing feat. Enjoy the memories. They don't get much better then that!!!

Looks like an older broomed ram. Hard to tell, but if he's broomed on both, he's a dead ram !
