Another vote for the Diamond Infinite Edge. Both of my boys used them from about age 11 through 15 or 16 and they are both excellent archers! Be sure to keep the draw length and poundage adjusted properly as your boy grows so his form will not be negatively affected. Good luck, NvrEnuf

The only reason I would worry about getting a shock collar is if he will not respond to every command. If he takes off chasing a rabbit or deer or whatever you need to be able to call him off right away. If he doesn't listen then give him a little reminder jolt. :) As far as training just...
