Tagged out Monday morning on this beautiful old bull. Stayed patient and waited to find the big one and it paid off. I waited a long time for this hunt and I'm sad it's over but happy with the way it ended. Now to start the slow 7 year countdown

Patience patience patience. I had the same situation a couple days ago in utah. Get to a good spot within range and wait. Limit movement and let him expose him self. Sometimes all you have to go off of is the top of his antlers. Alot of times you will have no shot regardless if he stands up or...

If and when you draw the nevada elk tag a guide won't be necessary. Especially if your just acrossed state lines from here

Maynard creek in Roosevelt Texas is a good place. I have hunted whitetail out there a couple times. They offer auodad hunts as well as axis deer and a couple other exotics

I have heard sheep feet work well but I refuse to pay the price they ask for them. I use super feet hiker max and they have been good to me

Nevada/Utah border where highway 318 from cedar city crosses the border. Hunt north of the 318 in the indian peak range. Was hunting on the border line in 2020 on the nevada side for elk and there was a ton of elk crossing back and forth. Filled my tag on the second day

Had an archery tag there in 21 and it was tough. Was all over the diamonds and to the far north of the range. I saw deer every day but nothing worth killing imo. Unit used to be killer from what I was told. If I get that tag again I'll hunt 143, specifically in the wildness area

My 7 days for my elk hunt here in nevada will be spent at the end of my season in sepetember.
