Anyone hunted this unit before?

Was lucky enough to draw a type-1 unit 11 elk tag. I am planning to get the archery permit and bow hunt the last half of September as well. I expect to make a few scouting trips over the summer to get more familiar with the area, but as a non-resident my trips may be limited. Does anyone...

Has anyone hunted archery elk with R&K before?...or know what CWMU's they run? I have an out of state buddy that is thinking of booking with them. Anyone know what he might expect or where he would hunt?

Always alot of golfing to be had or you could go Bass fishing at Sandhollow or Quail Creek. Or rent some quads and ride at Sandhollow sand dunes or head down to Mesquite for the night and lose some money. Go check out Shroomies in Ancestor square for a great burger.

Your theory sounds about right to me as well. I agree that the frame will often times shrink but they'll add more mass and possibly points as well. And it seems to me that they definitely lose some tine length as they get older.

Fishlake, do you have deer hit your Deer Co. Cain during the day? I have it in several different spots with trail camera's on them and everything comes in at night. The deer go crazy for the stuff but only at night. It's well off the beaten path too.

The guys at the Archery shop said it was, but I wanted to make sure so I read the proclamation and couldn't find anything about it so I decided to buy some and try it with my trail cam's.

I buy it at the local Archery shop. Abuddy of mine says that he saw it at Sportsman's Warehouse, but I haven't checked there myself.

I haven't used C'mere deer, but I have used deer Co.Cain and it works really well.
