I bought some B5 18x56s last year. Switched from vortex. Both are great but if I had to choose it would be Maven.

Homer is right. They are pressurized. I'd be more worried about the baggage handlers throwing your bag around. I work for an airline and I would carry it on.

I drew this tag on random. I was literally the only non res that drew on random. No idea how I was so lucky.

I'm really familiar with the Wasatch just not the areas where most of the moose are. Like you said I mostly just need to get up in some new areas and learn the roads. I'm dieing to get out and start scouting.

I appreciate the offer. I will take any help I can get. This will most likely be my only chance to hunt moose in my life so I want to make the most of it. I plan on hunting 2 full weeks timing the rut the best I can. I was thinking Oct 1-15.

I switched to Maven 15x56's on a tripod last season from my vortex spotter. Wish I would have done it years ago. Still carry 10x42's for non tripod glassing.

I show awarded a cow tag but still just entered on the rest. Looks like it's just starting to update.

Then you really won't like me after I tell you I only had 10 points. I still can't believe it.

Maven isn't on the list either. Bought the 15x56 last year and they are awesome. They replaced my spotter on longer hikes.

I hunt this unit every year. There is some good deer you just have to work for them. The years I can get scouting time in I usually do well. I will post up my 2017 deer that just got back from the taxi.

Definitely didn't think Rinella had that kind of money. His Netflix deal must have been pretty lucrative and his books must be selling like crazy. Or he has some serious investors.

My card got hit on May 11th last year so I'm expecting Friday the 10th this year.

RE: Trail Camera Law I did, they were at guzzlers so easy for me to let them know where they were. I won't be back up there this season to see if they come down. I heard that ndow wont be issuing tickets in 2018, just warnings but next year they will be.

I agree, they should have put something out considering the new regulations take affect in less than 2 weeks. I emailed them the other day and they said a press release will come out soon and they will release an updated guidebook at the same time.

The 80 or so cows across the highway is a resident heard that spends the majority of their time in that field. The chance of catching them on public is slim. I had the archery tag and had no trouble getting into elk pretty much every day. Your right about the bulls being at higher elevations...

Are you hunting 222 by chance?

The fact that breaking off a point can actually help a score goes to show you just how messed up b&c's scoring system actually is. Net scores mean nothing in my eyes.

I have a pair of 7 year old binos that need some TLC. Has anyone dealt with them on getting a refurbishment. No major repairs, just the rubber eye cups replaced and a couple other small things.

I agree, not only are there tons of odds that are just plain wrong, but there's a bunch of typos as well. Same with the magazine articles. I love the stories so I will keep with the magazines but I'm done with the mrs book. They need a new editor.

Hands down favorite is Steven Rinella. Number 2 is Remi Warren. I don't really have a least favorite but I can't watch any of the eastern shows. The tree stand over a food plot/feeder hunts aren't my cup of tea.

I think those numbers are pretty close too. I hate what they've done with the Wasatch. I hunt that area every year and was actually seeing an increase in bull quality until all the cow tags. It's going to take a few years before it starts trending up again. That is if they don't screw it up any...

I use mytopo paper maps and OnX digital. Not sure if mytopo are as good as flatline, they are just what I'm used to. I may take you up on the coues info. I've been thinking about a AZ coues hunt for a long time. Let me know how the draw goes. Good luck!
