Pops got a South slope Diamonds at 80 years old !He has been somewhat lucky lsat few years with Nevada Bull,Nevada 065 deer,Montana deer then this tag.Harder getting around but still doing it!

Try some Hammer bullets or let Steve develop a load for it. Kevin Weaver would be hard to beat for gunsmith work. Also try a different weight bullet as the twist might be wrong for what you are trying.

Joe at Wildlife Revolutions in Reno has done a great job for myself.

Remember snow can be a issue and having chains and access too snow mobiles might be a good idea.We put in with the guide for a few different reasons.When we were camping there on that hunt it was -15 degrees plus some wind.Seems like the mahoganys were the place too focus on.It was a blast !

Heard it has been tough this year and one of the tag holders turned in his tag.

Congrats on some great tags. Bummed for pops as he blamed on his elk tag with 14-15 points and nothing for Montana for us. I drew a cow tag in 111-112 for the Dec- Jan hunt. Good luck on the hunts this year.
