How rare is it to find sheds off a 200 inch muley?

I’ve picked up quite a few antlers over the years and only 1 single that fits the bill. I can’t remember if it measured 94” or 97” with a decent amount chipped off the G4.

How many days did you spend scouting this summer?

I got 9 days in Wyoming looking at deer. This doesn’t include the time at home looking at maps or time at work looking also. There’s still a few around.

Is OnX looking at way points, stealing spots?

Let’s think about this for just a sec. In 2021 there were roughly 26 million hunters in the US. Say 1/10 of them subscribed to OnX. That’s 2.6 million apps. Say on average 1 single person has 30 waypoints. That’s 78 million waypoints the tech guys at OnX would have to sort through to hopefully...

YOU GUYS EVER TRIMMED ONE DOWN LIKE THIS???

I suppose it’s pretty easy to speculate, judge and persecute a guy because of his faith when he’s not around to defend himself. Stay classy MM.

    Costa Rica

My wife and I went to the Osa peninsula last February. We stayed and fished with Crocodile bay. It’s was incredible. The fishing was great, the tours, the food and just spending a week in the rain forest was awesome. We caught big Dorado, roosters, she caught a 100lb sailfish and I hooked into...

    elk draw

Antelope within a 120 mile radius of Rawlins in 2023 and beyond for a few years is going to be tough. That area is experiencing pretty bad winter kill.

Closest shot you have ever missed

Deer 22 yards with archery. My arrow deflected off a small branch and went straight up into the stratosphere.

    How did you learn

I killed my first deer at the ripe old aged of 12 with my dad as my guide on public land in Nebraska. I branched off in my early 20’s to hunt waterfowl pretty seriously, but never would miss deer season with dad. In my early 30’s I’d decided I had enough waterfowl and have been focused on mature...

    Wyoming bound!

We broke ground in October and close on June 1st. It’s almost 8 years in the making. To anyone thinking about making the move, you just need to do it, there will always be something trying to keep you from not moving forward. Fear is a liar.

Looking for Excellent Outfitter in Nebraska for 24' Mule Deer Hunt

Nebraska public is pretty tough business unless your able to put in a ton of time scouting. The 2 I would recommend are Spring Meadows and Heartland Pride. Spring Meadows targets big mature bucks. You’re best chances for a big buck would be during the November firearm season or early...

    Spring bear

The bear tag is valid state wide and is also valid for spring and fall. When the female mortality quota or closing date is met, the season closes for that particular unit. Your tag is still valid for other open units. I did that hunt last May, good times.....

Bear's ever been into your camp?

We were truck camping on an elk hunt a few years ago in Colorado and left the BBQ out over night, my brother in law was woke up by his vehicle moving side to side and the BBQ getting moved around. After a cup of coffee and a good laugh we started up the trail, after about an hour I checked our...

    Nebraska Mule Deer
