Very true. I've watched it deplete just in my short 27 years now. I'm not a fan what so whatever of what this state has become and I'm a 4th generation native. I plan on leaving myself for a more red infused state with a more reasonable cost of living. This could very well be my last fall...

If you want something for plinking/deer and antelope gun. I would get a 6.5x47 lapua or 6.5 creedmoor. My 6.5x47 lapua is probably my favorite/most accurate gun I own. Coloradoboy

I personally own a lot of the calibers mentioned... As far as the nosler calibers go the only one I'd consider is the 30, but they really don't have a huge advantage over the tried and true 300 win and they don't achieve 300 RUM performance. I own a 26 and a 28 and yes they shoot, and kill stuff...

Throw a dart at the map and go hunting. Most people are pretty tight lipped on OTC elk areas in Colorado. Invest in something like ON X maps and freezer because most wouldn't recommend storing it in a fridge. Coloradoboy
