How much longer until they show the elk back door codes?

I know these guys and their guns, they are good guys and the guns shoot really good. The owner helped build Christensen arms from the ground up, so he has a lot of experience. For the price, I wouldn't hesitate. They also don't look bad at all. You can also watch there hunting show on tv.

We went to New Zealand to harvest them. It was the trip of a lifetime! Great people, place, food, and most importantly animals!! I'd recommend it to anyone! Those are awesome mounts! What's the name or style of the mounts?

My wife was fortunate to harvest a nice stag. We are now looking at different mounts. So I'm wondering if anyone has a favorite or good looking mount you'd be willing to post or pm me a pic to help us decide? Thanks for any help!

It was for unit 40 3rd season rifle. I had 10 points. Last year it took 8 to draw.

Is there any nonresidents out there that have pulled a 500 code? I should have drawn my elk tag for sure this year and so far I still only show a 481 code.

My guess is closer to 160"-165" nice buck though, congrats!

It is possible that it was "poached" and left behind by a hunter, but we don't now the facts of what happened. It could be the hunter shot him and couldn't find him, or a young kid shot him and didn't k ow how to put forth the effort to find him, or his dad said he missed or Ect. I would hope...

I had a friend shoot a 190 class buck at 85 yds. Piled him up and rolled down the mountain. Only to watch him get up after 30 seconds of tumbling around and a few yells of great joy. And then never to see him again. We will never use them again!!! I use accubonds and have recovered many...

No chance at all, they are sticklers for that rule!!The only thing you can do is turn your tag and get your points or get a point back. But you'll loose your money this late in the game, there is less than 30 days before your hunt. Good luck!

Ps. I wouldn't gut it either!!! It does save time and effort if you do it right. I would also debone on the spot, you end up with more meat with a lot less effort. And a lot less chance of meat spoiling. Get it cooled quick though, hang it up in a tree if you don't get it out in the first trip...

Good luck on the hunt! Keep the tag with you, you don't want to run into a ranger with meat or head and not have a proper filled tag. Going with either method, you will detach the head which requires you to leave the nuts attached to meat for evidence of sex. There is mo easy way to get the...
