What year is it?

I drew in 2019. Good looking deer country not a lot of deer. Weather was really mild. I saw one mature buck. A 6 year old forked horn.

Then why can’t they show it after you apply ?

Usually the application number is given out after the seed numbers. Which is confusing to me because they make a big deal of seed numbers being a fair drawing open to the public. ( which is great) but then after then just randomly assign a app number.

I would talk to Keith ( aka Deer ) he knows the unit very well, he lives in eastern oregon and has pack animals. Plus he’s relentless with scouting. It would be at least worth trying to work something out that is mutually beneficial.

I’ll check it out. What would be the ball park dimensions ?

Could it be shipped? Any idea what that would cost to central Oregon 97754?

We got fogged In then snowed out pretty bad. We only had two days of hunting before we had to leave. We had 20 inches at camp and the forecast was calling for another 12-18 inches. I have mules and all the packing stuff so I was never looking for a guide.

These are 2012s Swarovisions The outside shows some rubbing but they have lived their whole life in a inclosed bino case. one little spec on the left lens but it has no effect on the clarity of the binos. Other than that they are in great shape and one of the best Binos on the market. $1950 tyd

I would strongly recommend looking somewhere else. have You elk hunted before? Does your friend elk hunt the area?

Is that the sprague unit? Typically it's a super tough hunt. Lots if people don't even see elk. Success rates have not been above 7% in the past 5 years. From what I understand it gets hunted hard all fall from some of the natives. How many points do you have? Where are you from?

Since Oregon is so ridiculous with non res draw opportunities. I'm curious to know if any non res are quitting or have quit the points game in Oregon? How many points have you left on the table?
